First morning in Tortuguero, how exciting!
6 a.m. is the perfect time to set off on our Canoe or Kayak Tour! Imagine navigating the canals while our guide waits with all the equipment ready for action! This tour, which lasts between 2 and 3 hours, not only gives you the best opportunity to spot wildlife but also lets you enjoy a cool and pleasant climate. If you prefer another time for this activity, don't worry! We also have tours at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Your first afternoon in Tortuguero.
With your Tortuguero National Park ticket in hand, you have the opportunity to hike the Jaguar Trail. This activity, which lasts between 1 and 2 hours, can be done with a guide or independently.

First afternoon in Tortuguero.
One of the scheduled activities is a visit to Cerro de San Francisco, a charming village located less than 15 minutes by boat from the main Tortuguero dock. From there, we will proceed to the park entrance, where it is recommended to have purchased your entrance ticket in advance through the SINAC website, at an approximate cost of $4 USD per person. We will begin the ascent via a trail with 440 steps, leading to the summit of the hill, where you can enjoy an exceptional view. The duration of this activity is approximately 2 to 3 hours, depending on the physical condition of each participant.

Explore the night in Tortuguero. If you arrived in Tortuguero yesterday feeling tired, today is the perfect time to enjoy the night walk. This is one of the two most recommended activities in Tortuguero, along with the canal tour.
Second day in Tortuguero
A splendid morning awaits! You've already enjoyed the night hike, the turtle nesting, and the canal tour, or the ascent to the hill. Remember that the sun rises over the sea in Tortuguero, and you can: Waking up to watch the sunrise over the sea evokes the beginning of a new day, peace, gratitude, and a connection with nature.
